Ki Solar Energy ("Ki," "we," "us") operates kisolarenergy.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you give us in order to prepare your solar savings estimate, we don't sell your data, and you can opt out of contact at any time.

What we collect

• Information you provide — when you complete our qualification quiz or contact us: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and answers about your home's energy situation (utility provider, approximate bill, home ownership, roof conditions, and an optional self-reported credit range).
• Technical basics — when you submit the form we record the submission time, IP address, browser user-agent, the page you were on, and referral/campaign parameters. This is standard consent record-keeping and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To evaluate whether solar programs fit your home and prepare your savings estimate.
• To contact you about your request — by phone, text, or email — as described in the consent language on the form.
• To obtain quotes on your behalf from the installers and financiers in our network. We share only what's needed to prepare an accurate quote, and only in connection with your request.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
• We do not run a call center — you hear from a Ki advisor.

Calls and texts (TCPA)

Submitting our form with the consent box checked gives Ki Solar Energy your express written consent to call and text you at the number provided, including via automated technology and prerecorded messages, about solar programs and your savings estimate. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out any time by emailing info@kisolarenergy.com or telling us during a call.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about them, and will never be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Email info@kisolarenergy.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject and we'll respond within the statutory window. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA.

Retention and security

We keep lead information for as long as needed to serve your request and meet legal record-keeping obligations (including consent records), then delete it. Information is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems.

Cookies and analytics

The site currently uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Quiz progress is stored temporarily in your own browser (sessionStorage) and never leaves your device unless you submit the form. If we enable analytics tools in the future (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), those tools may set cookies to measure site usage and ad performance; we will update this policy when that happens, and those tools never receive your quiz answers or contact details from us.
