San Diego's independent solar broker

The sun is about to rise on your electric bill.

We shop vetted installers and financiers to lock your rate below the utility. $0 down, $0 install. We work for you, not the solar company.

Launch offer: qualify and your first 6 months of power are fully covered.

Two minutes · No obligation · No door-knockers

While you were sleeping

Your utility raised rates again. The sun didn't.

SDG&E, SCE, and PG&E customers have watched electric rates climb year after year for a decade. Meanwhile your roof has been ignoring free energy the whole time.

The Ki difference

We don't sell solar. We shop for it. For you.

A solar salesman has one system to sell you. A broker makes every installer and financier compete for your roof.

A solar salesman…

  • Works for the installer, not you
  • Has exactly one quote: theirs
  • Gets paid when you sign, whatever the price
  • Disappears after install day

Ki…

  • Sits on your side of the table
  • Compares quotes across vetted installers & financiers
  • Wins only when the best deal wins
  • Advocates for you from quote to power-on

How it works

Three steps. We do the heavy lifting.

01

We look at your bill

Ten minutes, free. We check your roof, your rates, and whether solar actually pencils out for you. If it doesn't, we'll say so.

02

We shop the market

Vetted installers and financiers compete for your project. We compare price, warranty, and workmanship, then negotiate on your behalf.

03

You pick. We handle it.

Permits, paperwork, install, inspection, power-on. One point of contact until your panels are making power: us.

The customer favorite

Pay for power. Not panels.

Why take on a loan or buy equipment when you can simply buy cheaper electricity? A Power Purchase Agreement gives you solar's benefits without the debt or the responsibility of ownership.

$0 down

You pay nothing to design, permit, or install the system. Your money stays in your pocket.

Rate locked

Pay a fixed solar rate below your utility's and skip the annual hikes.

25-yr coverage

Full warranty and insurance included for the life of the agreement.

Zero maintenance

Panel breaks? Not your bill. Monitoring, maintenance, and repairs are handled.

Transferable

Selling your home? The agreement moves to the new owner and sweetens the listing.

Day-one savings

Your first solar bill is lower than the utility bill it replaces. That's the whole point.

The whole idea: keep buying the electricity you already use, just cheaper and locked in, from panels on your own roof. The provider owns and cares for the equipment for the full term; you keep the savings without any of the responsibility. And if the numbers don't clearly favor your home, we'll tell you before anyone rolls a truck.

Fair questions

Asked, answered, no dodging.

What's the catch?

For most qualifying homes, it's a clean trade. The provider owns the system and earns by selling you power at your locked rate, which is exactly why maintenance, repairs, and insurance stay their job for the full term. Your side of the deal: pay a lower rate instead of a rising one. And if the numbers don't clearly favor your home, we'll say so up front.

Is a PPA a lease?

Close cousins, different deal. With a lease you rent the equipment for a fixed monthly payment. With a PPA you pay only for the power the panels actually produce, at a set per-kWh rate below your utility's. No production, no charge.

Why is a broker free for me?

The installer who wins your project pays us, the same way they'd pay their own sales team. The difference: their salesman is paid to sell you their system at their price. We're paid when the best offer wins, so our incentive is making them compete.

What happens when I sell my home?

The agreement transfers to the buyer. A home with a locked electric rate below the utility's is a selling point. Buyers inherit the savings, not a debt.

What if a panel breaks?

Not your bill. Monitoring, maintenance, repairs, and insurance are included for the full 25-year term. If production drops, fixing it is the provider's problem. They only get paid when the panels produce.

Will I still get a utility bill?

Usually a small one, yes: it covers nighttime power and grid connection. Your solar bill plus that stub should land comfortably below what you pay today. We show you the math before you sign anything.

Do I qualify?

The broad strokes: you own your home, no existing solar, a monthly bill around $150+, and service from SDG&E, SCE, PG&E, or IID. The two-minute quiz gives you a straight answer.
